Calgary Real Estate Market Stats April 2013
Calgary Real Estate market is currently a Seller's Market
- For the month of April 2013 the Average Calgary House Price was $510,834, up 5.8% from April 2012. The median Calgary house price for April 2013 was $450,000 *New Record*, up 6.9% from April last year
- The Average Calgary Condo price for April 2013 was $311,616, up 7.2% from the same period last year. The median Calgary condo price last month was $279,000, up 3.3% from April 2012
- April 2013 Average Days on Market (DOM) was 31 Days for Calgary home listings sold (vs. 38 days last April). The average DOM for Calgary condo listings sold was 38 days (vs. 49 days last April)
- Calgary MLS® System sales for April 2013 totalled 2,381 properties, an 8.4% increase from last April (metro Calgary homes & condos combined). There were 1,611 Calgary houses sold last month, a 2.0% increase over last April, and 770 Calgary condos sold, a 25% increase from from the same period last year
- Combined Metro Calgary Real Estate listing Inventory is currently 1.8 months worth of supply, 17% fewer listings than the same time last year. Calgary house listing inventory now stands at 1.8 MOI *months of inventory*: 54% of all Calgary home listings sold last month. Calgary condo listing inventory has 1.8 months of inventory (MOI): 55% of all Calgary condo listings sold last month
