Calgary a Buyer's Market in all price ranges
- Detached Home Median Sale Price was $480,000 down 1.8% Yr/Yr
- Detached Home Average Sale Price was $541,692 no change Yr/Yr
- Detached Home Benchmark Sale Price was $503,071 down 3.2% Yr/Yr
- Apartment Median Sale Price was $269,950 down 5.1% Yr/Yr
- Apartment Average Sale Price was $352,184 up 13.0% Yr/Yr
- Apartment Benchmark Sale Price was $280,400, down 5.5% Yr/Yr
- Average Days on Market (DOM) was 43 Days for Detached Calgary Homes sold vs. 37 days last July. Average DOM for Calgary Apartment sales was 57 days vs. 47 days last July.
- There were 1,362 detached homes & apartments sold on the Calgary MLS® System in July 2016, down 12% Yr/Yr.
- 1,108 detached Calgary homes sold down 9% Yr/Yr. There were 254 Calgary apartments sold, 22% fewer than the same period last year
